In December 2010, NJ Gaming News went live.
The launch of H5G's first gaming news site was the result of a transformative year in New Jersey's gaming industry. Atlantic City was struggling, the horse racing industry was fighting for its life, and internet gaming had finally risen to the forefront as part of a solution to revive the state's gaming industry. NJ Gaming News was created to cover the rapidly changing industry that so many state programs depend on for funding.
High 5 Games views NJ Gaming News as a public service. While local media and the gaming industry from afar do an excellent job at covering the major developments occurring within the state, we wanted to have one spot where New Jersey residents could find out all of the latest major gaming news.
H5G certainly has a vested interest in the gaming debate as a major company within the state, but the company is more interested in finding a solution that works for the people of New Jersey. As residents of this state, we will work with all parties to ensure that the New Jersey gaming industry remains an industry leader in the years ahead.
